North Hills Communications Facility

The North Hills facility is located about 13 miles north of Helena, Montana along the east side of Interstate 15 and is located on state lands at North 46-46-12.4 West 112-1-40.9 (NAD27 Datum). The building sits at an elevation of 4,680 feet above sea level and has a single platform 137 foot tower that looks south into Helena and north along I15 towards Wolfcreek. The building is a large 1,500 square feet constructed entirely out of 18 inch solid concrete walls and ceilings. Power is supplied by Northwestern Energy and 120 VAC single phase and 208 VAC three phase power is available. The site has a 25 pair telephone cable terminated in the building and telephone service is available from Qwest.
