Emerald Hills Repeater and Site
The Emerald Hills repeater was
installed on May 10th of 2025. It is located on a platau East of Billings.
The sites elevation is at 3,910 feet and has a 50 foot tower. The UHF repeater
consists of a Motorola MTR3000 repeater operating at 100 watts. The repeater
transmits and receives into a DB Products DB-408 antenna located at about
50 feet above ground. The repeater works great in Billings, Laurel, Airport,
and I90 through Harden and I94 on to the Northeast and many other locations
North and South of Billings. This repeater is permanently linked to the
BrandMeister DMR network. More information on the Digital DMR use can be
